Community Manager
Property Management – St Petersburg, FL – Full Time
Summit Communities is a rapidly growing operator of Manufactured Home Communities, RV Resorts, and Campgrounds in North America. Summit currently consists of 32 resorts in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Arizona.
We are currently seeking a qualified Community Manager for our property in St Petersburg, FL. The successful candidates maintain property operations by attracting and serving residents, while ensuring the financial goals are met.
Job Duties include:
- Represent Summit Communities, its individual properties, employees and residents in a professional, pleasant and productive manner at all times.
- Demonstrate leadership in corporate attitude, communication skills, and professional appearance. Exemplify adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Inspect the community grounds and community-owned homes daily to maintain a clean, presentable appearance; identify any unusual activity; recognize and recommend areas for improvement to promote pride in community grounds.
- Manage all daily operations of the property, including staff, buildings, and other assets.
- Attract new customers and guests through active marketing, excellent customer service
- Analyze, prepare, and manage the operational budget of the community. Analyze budget variance reports monthly and prepare meaningful explanations to variance in excess of the established guidelines.
- Build relationships with residents and respond to all resident needs to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate the advertising, promotions and presentations of community owned homes as directed by Regional Manager or Director of Sales. Facilitate home sales transactions at the direction of the corporate office.
- Maximize the profitability of the community
- Perform other duties as assigned and requested.
Requirements include:
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience and/or property management experience required, RV or MHC experience useful.
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year, accredited university or college preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Marketing and sales experience.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail orientated with strong time management, leadership, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook and other web based applications including financial systems.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, and other web based applications including email, financial systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid drivers license.
