Community Relations Director – The Barrington (Largo, FL)

Key responsibilities include

• Maintaining and/or improving upon the occupancy level of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans
• Managing the sales process by assisting prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors in the decision-making process by understanding their needs and educating them about how services and programs can meet their needs
• Responding promptly to every telephone call or in-person inquiry from all referral sources, prospective residents, and families. While completing weekly follow-up calls, letters, and tours
• Coordinating and completing all activities needed for the sale and converting deposits to move ins
• Communicating daily with key associates regarding the status of all prospective move-ins
• Representing the community and increasing awareness through participation in outside events, professional groups, and community involvement

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5+ years as a Sales Counselor/Director at a Senior Living Community
• Must be highly proficient with computers and software programs to include MS Office and yardi preferred
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be very detail oriented with strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills
• Must have flexibility with schedule and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
