POSITION OBJECTIVE

Handle all client requests and anticipate client/guests needs once on-site to successfully execute the group’s program. Pre-checking all event spaces with banquet event order to ensure proper set up. Work effectively with operating departments to make sure the operation has proper information to effectively execute each function. Manage, coordinate, and execute group assignments turned over or other projects including but not limited to, typing banquet event orders, diagrams, room signs and any other tasks assigned by the Director/Assistant Director of Conference Services.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Create daily meeting event signage on a weekly basis and distribute/remove daily as needed.
  • Attend all pre-convention meetings
  • Assisting clients with setting up their office/unloading materials as needed.
  • Pre-checking all event spaces with banquet event order to ensure proper set up.
  • Visual to the Meeting Professional, their staff and attendees. Accessible in person and via walkie talkie/cell phone.
  • Facilitate last minute changes/issues from meeting planners and communicate with Set Up, Audio Visual, Banquet Departments and communicate to Conference Service Managers.
  • Anticipate ending of meeting/event and assist with trams/load-out.
