What You’ll Do
As a Construction Materials Assistant Staff Project Coordinator, you are a natural leader with a strong work ethic. You have a passion for all things construction materials testing-related and you are able to quickly learn the ropes. You may have experience in soils testing, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, and as an engineering field technician – which is what drew you to this role. You have great communication skills and are easily able to interact with your team and clients. You have a “can do” attitude and are ready to take on any project thrown your way – and that’s why you’ll have all the opportunity for career growth within our company you’ll want. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team – and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
- Testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing and asphalt pavement
- Scheduling, training, and oversight of field technicians
- Special inspections of structural components
- Performing laboratory tests
- Generating daily field reports
- Assisting in project resolutions
- Preparing reports and proposals
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 4-6 years of experience or equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience
