Job Title: Project Coordinator

Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator will support the efficient execution of construction projects, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders. This role involves coordinating various project elements to ensure successful delivery within budget and timelines, while upholding quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation:
- Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients, architects, and engineers.
- Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
Resource Management:
- Support the selection and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams.
- Assist in resource allocation to meet project goals.
- Help ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
- Contribute to the implementation of cost-saving measures and control of project costs.
- Support the preparation and presentation of financial reports to stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control measures.
- Participate in regular inspections of construction sites to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Support the resolution of any issues or defects promptly.
Schedule Management:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules.
- Assist in monitoring progress and recommending adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Support the identification of potential delays and implementation of mitigation strategies.
Risk Management:
- Assist in identifying project risks and contribute to the development of risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate on addressing and resolving issues that may arise during construction.
- Contribute to ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders.
- Assist in providing regular progress reports to clients and management.
- Support the facilitation of meetings and discussions related to the project.
Document Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure organization and accessibility of all project records.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelors/Associates a plus)
- Some experience in a construction-related role, with a strong interest in project coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Salary Range: $35000 – $4000
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
