Daily Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist with managing all phases of a project including planning, design, construction
- Aid in the procurement and management of local architects, engineers, general contractors and subcontractors, and specialty vendors as needed
- Participate in the design and drawing production for commercial projects
- Review and redline construction drawings and specifications from various firms and identify errors, budget overruns, and operational risks as related to the means and methods of construction
- Attend construction meetings as Owner’s representative and oversee various Construction Administrative tasks by various design teams
- Responsible for the overall coordination of all design disciplines, drawings, vendors and other projects efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects
- Serve as the primary liaison to bring the schedule, budget and scope of work to completion
- Collaborate with design and administrative team members and managers within the office
- Identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks
Key Skills and Requirements
- Degree in Construction or Design field of study
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop software is required
- Proficiency with Lumion rendering software is preferred but not required
- Knowledge and application of current building, zoning, fire protection, and jurisdictional code requirements
- Clear verbal and nonverbal communication when interacting with all levels of the organization
- Strong work ethic and a great sense of humor!
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with impeccable follow up and follow-through
- Exceptional communicator with solid collaboration skills
- Works well under pressure with an innate ability to prioritize early and often
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
