Qualifications


The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, Hill resource allocation, direction and control of the project team. The Project Manager is to bring together the technical, management and administration of team disciplines and utilizes a set of principles, methods, tools and techniques to achieve effective, efficient and timely completion of the project on time, within budget and of the quality expected.

The Project Manager must:

  • Establish an overall project plan, and strategy, and identify specific goals, priorities, and plans for successfully completing the project
  • Establish written project procedures consistent with Hill’s agreement and scope of work
  • Organize and implement teams for specific tasks
  • Align people and communicate strategies
  • Develop and communicate action plans
  • Establish an effective and efficient task execution process
  • Motivate and energize people through effective leadership
  • Learn the team needs (enable success)
  • Know the design and construction process
  • With respect to the Internal Hill Relationship, the Project Manager must:
  • Determine and communicate Hill’s tasks, budget and schedule
  • Assume the leadership responsibility for delivery for all Hill services
  • Set up and utilize Project Management Tools effectively and efficiently
  • Understand and attain the Hill financial project goals
  • Manage the Hill team’s conduct to be professional and ethical at all times
  • Keep Hill management informed of current project status, forecast, and issues requiring attention.
