Homestead Road, one of the largest and fastest-growing real estate investm)ent companies in the country, is hiring a Construction Project Manager to join their hard-working and innovative team working in the Tampa, FL area.
The construction project manager plans, directs and coordinates activities pertaining to the construction, renovation and maintenance of an assigned property in accordance with company policies, and governmental regulations.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Anticipate and plan projects to meet expectations and timeline goals including: rehabilitation, repairs, and cleaning.
- Determine and write a scope of work and project budget, including start and completion dates, and staffing requirements for each phase of the construction project.
- Hires, directs and motivates supervisory personnel, subcontractors and staff engaged in planning and executing work procedures.
- Maintains and oversees service contracts, negotiates new contracts or terminates existing ones as required.
- Reviews and approves all invoices pertaining to the construction department and submits all approved bills to the accounting department for processing and payment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (not required)
- 4+ years supervisory experience in the construction field or experience as a general contractor.
- Superb time management and delegation skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and project management tools a plus
