Full Job Description
5-10 Years commercial experience as a lead superintendent preferred
Extensive knowledge of commercial building methods and codes
Ability to read drawings and specifications
Attention to detail and independent problem solving abilities
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for dealing with subcontractors, architects and project managers.
Utilization of a computer is essential. Microsoft Office experience required
Establish site objectives and schedules, acts as site representative and liaison with subcontractors, vendors, and monitors construction site activities throughout all phases of the project
Responsible for site management activities include project schedule, RFI production, safety and daily written reporting, site general conditions cost, quality control, project final delivery and punch-out
Maintenance of organized job site, including office trailer. Manage subordinate staff, oversee the quality of construction, and ensure safety on job site
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Ability to utilize construction management software’
