Corner Bakery Café has inked a multi-unit restaurant franchise agreement with CB Restaurant Holdings LLC with a goal to open 14 restaurants in Tampa Bay by the end of 2020.
The fast-casual chain plans to open its first Bay area location toward the end of the 2014, said Gregg Koffler, vice president of franchise sales.
The franchisee has yet to select the site, he said.
The franchise agreement is Corner Bakery Café’s second with CB Restaurant Holdings, which already owns four locations in South Florida.
Corner Bakery, based in Dallas, has about 110 company-owned and 40 franchise locations throughout the United States, as well as franchise agreements for another 300 locations.
