Are you a word champ? Maybe Wheel of Fortune is your jam. Or perhaps they call you the Scrabble Master! We’re looking for someone who has a real way with words, to help us write kick-ass content for our #PDIFamily. We’ve always got a lot of exciting updates to share with our team members, so we need someone who knows how to get the word out, while keeping it short and sweet. The right person will get a thrill out of catchy subject lines, enticing email campaigns, and all things comms.
The Corporate Communications Specialist will work within the SOURCE (previously known as HR), to support the team and other departments develop important and engaging messaging for our entire company (including our field and remote employees in different regions). This Specialist will be in tune with our internal audience, knowing what will grab the attention of busy employees, and creating exciting and informative content that is relevant to them.
position details/responsibilities…
- Write, edit, and develop a variety of print and electronic communications to create awareness of internal company messages, as well as drive candidate and employee engagement.
- Support the Communications Team in creating content (such as emails, videos, digital displays, internal blogging, and app notifications) for large-scale employee campaigns, including events, competitions, program launches, and more.
- Partner with various high-communication functional areas to create and coordinate internal messaging for their departments.
- Support the Communications Team by creating content for, updating, and maintaining various electronic communications channels, including internal website, digital signage, and employee apps.
- Assist with special projects such as strategic workplace awards, virtual employee groups, communication automation, and more.
here’s what we’re looking for…
- 2-3 years of demonstrated experience creating high-level, quality communications is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, writing, or another related field is required.
- A copywriting aficionado with a passion for storytelling, who takes grammar and punctuation as seriously as a semi-colon.
- A campaign maven with a proven track-record helping clients think big picture, while also executing killer comms deliverables.
- A creative eye with foundational knowledge of design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- An agile team member who can work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects with changing priorities.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with email platforms (e.g. Mailchimp) and content management systems (e.g. WordPress) is preferred.
