Position is responsible for financial project management and related analytical work involved with the company’s capital markets and M&A activities. The work includes a variety of responsibilities involved in communicating with the investment community, managing projects associated with potential acquisitions and capital markets transactions, and gathering and assessing competitive market intelligence. The work also includes regular interaction with the company’s senior executives.
Essential Functions:
Lead projects for potential acquisition or other investment opportunities and capital markets transactions, including diligence, document assessment and negotiation, and other activities.
Develop complex financial statement models for potential acquisition or similar investment opportunities.
Lead or participate in the development and execution of reporting of quarter and annual financial results to investment community, including preparation of news release, call script and answers to potential questions, analyses of financial data and investment community estimates, and other related activities.
Responsible for responding to and documenting calls, meetings, and other communication with buy and sell side investment community and others.
Assess competitors’ activities in product and marketing, risk management, M&A, financial management, and related areas and report assessments to executive management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Experience: 7 or more years’ experience in accounting, financial management, or capital markets role. Health care experience preferred.
