Job Summary : Under the direction of the Global Real Estate Design and Planning Manager, Senior Workplace Planner will be involved in managing incoming and outgoing drawings of the contracted third party vendors and product suppliers, development of test-fits, review of detailed project-specific requirements and contribute to the successful implementation of alternative and agile workplace strategies. The candidate is to be a subject matter expert in corporate interior design, including a good working knowledge of all related codes and regulations. The person will be responsible for providing space plan feasibility studies and test-fits for the Latin America and Mexico (LATMEX) regions and must have excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Spanish. The role also includes managing Global Design and Planning websites – internal and external – for the LATMEX region that provides a centralized document repository of project related information that is accessible to project teams, vendors and service providers. This work entails managing the information in collaboration of the various design teams to insure it is current, is within compliance for an external website, archiving data and controlling access as well coordinating any modifications of the web design with the service provider. Other responsibilities include evaluating current and proposed workplace strategies, coordinating with internal partners to ensure that workplace solutions address changing business demands and align with workplace design and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct space layout (test fits, use of space guidelines, office eligibility) and compliance reviews for CRS Latin America and Mexico (LATMEX) project teams on corporate office facilities. Perform approximately 200 feasibility studies/test-fits per year.
- Support the execution of migration planning activity which include, but are not limited to the development of migration and phasing plans, stack and block plans, test-fits and collection and analysis of data related to the user requirements.
- Assist with the implementation of Citi Works and agile workplace strategies in alignment with corporate and business unit objectives including integrating and managing workplace outcomes with business and financial targets.
- Establish design related elements database for completed projects in order to capture trends in the utilization of key design components and product utilization. Based on findings, make recommendations to adjust workplace design guidelines in order to enhance efficiency and quality of the project designs. Implement and communicate to project teams all approved recommendations.
- Provide design support and guidance to project management by interfacing with the external design team to address and communicate design related issues.
- In partnership with regional project and space occupancy teams, define and manage global interior project space planning metrics. Identify opportunities to maximize efficiencies, get the best out of consistencies of the workplace across all regions and identify cost avoidance opportunities. Benchmark metrics within the industry.
- Responsible for brand compliance review of the firm’s interior and exterior signage designs for Latin America and Mexico (LATMEX) corporate locations. Provide global support services for designs when necessary. Escalate critical designs to Global Branding for their input and concurrence. Make recommendations to the business.
- Manage and maintain data, accessibility and support guidance for CRS internal and external websites. Insure all contracted architects upload final project contract documents, specifications and photographs. Responsible for annual compliance review of users’ accessibility and review of information posted on the site for obsolescence. Archive obsolete data.
- Increase the CRS project teams and contracted architectural design firms awareness of global design project metrics, strategies and goals as well as the brand signage visibility strategy through succinct communications and virtual training.
- Be an active participant and driver of annual roundtables for contracted design firms. Develop agenda; obtain guest speaker(s) based on survey of key topics. Conduct post survey to determine the success and relevancy of the roundtable sessions.
- Act as the primary contact on corporate projects to ensure timely and successful implementation of space & occupancy planning initiatives that are compliant with global corporate guidelines.
- Identify and validate existing organizational requirements and work space needs including utilization, growth forecasting, specialized requirements, head and seat counts and employee requirements at the business and employee level.
- Lead monthly meetings with external third parties – A/E firms and furniture vendors, and report on overall project issues. Communicate back global lessons learned and resolutions..
- Assist with maintaining end to end Workplace Design Standards control to ensure guidelines are implemented to specifications, space efficiency, level of quality, costs and design intent.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a change management strategy that supports the Global Workplace Design Guidelines.
- Keep up to date with emerging trends and insights with regards to workplace strategy, design and best practices.
- Incorporate sustainability strategy and green building best practices into design and construction projects
- Support the development of dashboard reporting, executive summaries, and monitor progress against plan
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited school. Graduate degree in related fields such as Facility Management, Facility/Space Planning, Real Estate or related field is preferred
- Must be able to demonstrate at least 10 years of direct experience in commercial architecture, interior design, workplace planning and programming, building construction, life safety and building codes and migration management; 2-3 years of global corporate real estate and/or financial services experience preferred
- Applied knowledge of alternative and agile workplace strategies and concepts, with the ability to communicate how business needs are changing and how people, places and technologies drive change within the workplace. Experience with Fintech focused agile space solutions preferred.
- Applied knowledge in programming, project planning and design at the regional and global levels with the ability to create effective solutions meeting universal design and building code requirements while incorporating workplace strategies and sustainable design principles and practices.
- Applied knowledge of the construction industry best practices and standard procedures, building infrastructure, facility management and their affect from a planning perspective.
- Strong understanding of system furniture and components
- Excellent working knowledge of the commercial furniture industry and related supply chain.
- Excellent applied knowledge of and skills in utilizing AutoCAD software. Additional knowledge of Revit, Sketch-up, Visio, InDesign is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) and industry standard project management tools
- Ability to comfortably interface with all levels of management and to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills in both English and Spanish
- Strong leadership, relationship management and problem solving skills with excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Process orientated and capacity to assess and shift priorities as required in order to ensure deadlines are met.
- Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation. LEED AP, WELL AP, Prosci, IFMA SFP and / or CoreNet MCR designation is preferred
