Full Job Description
We are seeking a Relocation Manager to join our team! You will manage and coordinate furniture projects by providing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation on retail financial center projects throughout the US. The position can reside in any city in the US and some travel is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of office furniture procurement from planning to implementation. Work in conjunction with Facility Project managers to successfully deliver retail financial centers throughout the US.
- Provide proactive, creative project leadership
- Interface with project partners, vendors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Lead and monitor progress of funding, provide input on construction documents, permitting and construction to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Manage funding, cost controls, schedules, and high standards of workmanship and consistency in accordance with client Project Policies and Procedures.
- Provide onsite management during furniture installation and staging tasks.
- Provide relocation management for Relocation and Renovation Projects.
- Complete contract administration and internal closeout process per corporate policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in corporate real estate project management or other related fields
- Background in the furniture industry/design industry helpful.
- Familiarity with management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- College degree in Architecture, Project Management, or Construction Management preferred but not required
