Corporate Register Assistant – Sydney Office – Permanent Part Time

A little about the role:

Domain has a number of corporate entities (agent ownership models) that members of the real estate industry have interests in. This role will see you manage the administration of the agent ownership models and be the central point of contact for real estate agents, trustees, the registries we use and the Domain business stakeholders. You will be part of the Legal and Company Secretarial function and report to the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary.

Your day to day will see you:

  • Acting as central point of contact and project manager in relation to the models working closely with Domain’s Sales, Finance and Legal/Co-Sec functions and externally with the real estate agent participants, trustees and external registry;
  • Maintain the corporate registers for each model, managing transfers of interests and liaising with trustees and the external registry where applicable;
  • Being a trusted point of contact for real estate agents, managing their queries and assisting with requests in relation to their interests in the models, changes in holdings and dividends;
  • Working closely with the Finance team in relation to dividend payments and dividend statements;
  • Liaising with the Domain sales team and assisting with sales team communications to our customers participating in the models.

We would be cheering if you have:

  • Experience in corporate register management and legal company secretarial matters
  • Experience with trusts and beneficiary arrangements would be well regarded
  • Project management experience and the ability to follow issues through to final optimal resolution
  • An understanding of dividend payment processes including dividend statements
  • Experience with preparing written shareholder communications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential
  • Demonstrated strengths in problem solving and the ability to proactively design sustainable solutions
  • A curious and questioning mind together with a passion for attention to detail
