Position overview- Our Bankers are a critical component of our success, as they represent our Brand in our Community.  What sets our Bankers apart from others is the value we bring in consulting to our clients on their individual financial objectives. Across our 10 banking offices in Hillsborough and Pinellas county, our Commercial Relationship Managers bring solutions-oriented client perspective, embrace accountability for their own goals, and they create value for our clients during each interaction.  Our Commercial Relationship Managers are highly regarded bankers, comfortable with the role and image of a sales professional and has expert knowledge in all banking services including credit, treasury services, and depository services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities-  

  1. Attends to the needs of customers seeking personal and business related loans or lines of credit.

    a. Interviews applicants to develop information concerning their businesses, needs, desires, abilities and earnings to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk.

    b. Makes decisions on loans and terms if within own lending limits, or makes recommendations to a Senior Lending Office.

  1. Follows current loans and lines to ensure complete conformity with terms and keeps abreast of developing trends.
  2. Coordinates or performs all necessary collection activities on all extensions of credit to assigned customers.
  3. Gives financial advice and counsel to customers and prospective customers at all times keeping the banker/borrower relationship in perspective.
  4. Participates with senior officers on larger loans and lines and keeps informed as to the status of loans in the department.
  5. Calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business or increase or retain existing business.
  6. Ensures adherence to the approved loan servicing policies and procedures of the Bank.
  7. Assists Senior Lending Officer in analyzing and preparing loans and lines of credit in loan portfolio.
  8. Ensures the proper control and maintenance of all notes, ledgers and other documents and directs the acceptance, valuations, safekeeping and release of collateral, and the maintenance of proper accounting records and controls for assigned portfolio.
  9. Analyzes existing operation procedures; recommending changes when necessary.
  10. May supervise a Commercial Loan Secretary or Loan Assistant’s assigned duties.
  11. May perform any other duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications-

  • Member of group of  associations affiliated with our client niche such as REIC, NAIOP, SOREP, CREW, BOMA, Chamber of Commerce, other Community groups
  • Hold one civic or philanthropic board position
