The Creative Art Director is responsible for executing and updating graphics pieces in relation to conferences and website management. This positions primary focus is on production jobs that require the ability to work quickly and efficiently. The Creative Art Director must be able to take the event managers vision of an invitation, flyer or brochure and bring it to life from scratch. 80% of the job will be graphic design and 20% will be event management and on-site conference support. For that reason this individual must be flexible to travel, work long hours on-site and take on all responsibilities assigned regardless of their job description.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  · Develops concepts and collaborates with copywriters to produce a very high quality of advertising.
  · Assists with monitoring all assigned production and follows through all phases of production.
  · Delivers presentations to team and/or senior creative personnel.
  · Designs in a variety of styles.
  · Assists with monitoring budgets and timeframes in conjunction with production personnel.
  · Remains current on industry trends and technology.
  · Ability to travel and work in excess of standard hours if necessary
  · Team player, willing to pitch in on anything to help get the task completed.
  · Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
  · Manage social media, and website management.
