– Answer incoming calls from customers who are inquiring about their energy bill.
– Assist customers with questions about their account and rates they are being billed for their energy needs.
– Educate new customers who are interested in enrolling about company services and the benefits of those features.
– Update contact information including addresses, billing information, etc.
– Toggle between multiple computer screens which contain information about customer account information, energy rate information, utility information, and billing information.
– Update new customer information in the company database system.

Work Environment:

Call center environment. Professional dress required during the first day – business casual afterwards.

Qualifications:
|
-2+ years of recent inbound call center experience -Proficient with computers -Knowledgeable of call center KPIs -High School Diploma/GED -Professional written and verbal communication skills
|

Performance Expectations:
|
-Answer in excess of 60 calls daily -Toggle between multiple computer screens to pull up and update customer information -Maintain standard call center quality measurables
|
|
Interview Information:
|
The client will not be conducting interviews. They are relying on Aerotek to conduct quality phone interviews, personal interviews, completed testing and obtain references for each new hire.
|
|
Additional Compensation:
|
There will be no additional compensation for these skill sets. Base pay rate only.

Training: -The first week of training will primarily be in the training room to learn about company policies/procedures, product lines, performance expectations, job functions, etc -The next few weeks of training will be on the floor shadowing senior representatives and doing some work in the training room -If a candidate is catching on very quickly they will progress through training faster than average performers
Testing: -WPM Typing Test (30 WPM Minimum) -Basic Microsoft Excel Test (Above global average) |
