PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Assist the Vice President and/or Sr. Development Manager through the development process.
- Coordinate any necessary due diligence efforts for the project and maintain all appropriate documentation.
- Interact and manage leasing efforts throughout the project.
- Providing leasing, development, financing support as required.
SKILLS / ABILITIES
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant real estate experience. Bachelor’s Degree, minimum, MBA or Master’s Degree in related fields preferred.
- The candidate should be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Project and have excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Well-developed social and cooperation skills.
- Participation and support of leasing, marketing, and public relations efforts.
- Assist with project proforma and budget.
- Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.
- Exceptional follow-through and organization skills are required.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the company and act as a good example, both internally and externally, in accordance with the values, ethical guidelines and management systems of the company.
- Work with a passionate and synergistic local team, in establishing and executing a joint vision and strategy for the successful execution of development projects.
- Assist Sr. Development Manager through a development project team from conceptual design through project execution, including but not limited to governmental entitlements, zoning, design, permitting, pre-construction and construction activities, property management activities and disposition.
- Be proactive, manage and developing an extensive network of contacts needed within the local real estate market to achieve success in the business strategy.
