Development Project Manager – Techno-Comp, Inc. (Temple Terrace)

SUB CONTRACTING COMPANIES/SUB CONTRACTORS ARE WELCOME

Role: Development Project Manager (Hadoop, ETL, Excel Macros, JIRA)

Location: Temple Terrace, FL

JOB DUTIES:
Manage overall feature delivery for The Fiber Store big data application (Hadoop , Postgres DB)
Keeping track of features across UI/ API, Extract Transform and Load (ETL)
Develop and track JIRA dashboard
Carry out daily stand up with development teams
Send out daily updates to leaders and managers with progress against the goals with key highlights, plan to catch up if delivery is behind
Understand the timeline expectation from business and Development manager and drive that with Developers
Remove impediments for the development team
Capacity monitoring
Build on call support schedules
Feature Planning – Resource allocation
Work on global clearance to enable offshore teams
Admin activities – Raise request for VZID, Laptop, EDN IDs, Firewall, VPN and so on

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
6 – 10 years hands on experience with managing multiple projects / initiatives
Proven skills of coordinating delivery between the multiple teams – onshore and offshore
3+ years of experience with Sprint planning, Tracking, JIRA dashboards, JQLs, EazyBI reporting to identify and enforce stale JIRAs , resource loading imbalance
2+ years of experience with excel macros

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree
PMP certification
