As our content writer, you’ll embody “the voice” of our clients by writing web copy that aligns with their branding, SEO, lead generation, social media, eMail and other marketing efforts. You should have experience writing for B2B and B2C clients and be able to tailor your copy to a specific audience to address problems, answer questions, and inspire consumers to use a product or service.

Our ideal content writer is an energetic storyteller who knows what it takes to create impactful messaging in the digital space.

Responsibilities:

  • Holds knowledge extraction sessions and interviews with clients to develop content
  • Engages with customers/stakeholders to maintain a cohesive brand voice
  • Creates website sitemap strategies using analytics, SEO and user-experience knowledge
  • Experience in Website Copywriting
  • Experience in writing copy for SEO lead generation
  • Collaborates with designers and project managers on website assets and deliverables
  • Writes copy for websites, blogs, long-form guides, emails, case studies, landing pages and other marketing materials
  • Edits and proofreads content
  • Executes content marketing strategies and editorial calendars
  • Conducts content audits and analysis
  • Creates buyer personas and user stories
  • Presents and reviews content to clients and internal teams
  • Works with project managers to populate content on websites

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (marketing, advertising, journalism, communications or English preferred)
  • Experience writing for B2B/B2C web-based audiences
  • 4+ years working in a professional or agency setting
  • Writing examples and portfolio of work

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in CMS platforms such as WordPress
  • SEO knowledge and experience incorporating keywords into strategy
  • Copywriting-specific or advertising background
  • Content strategy experience working at an agency or for a brand
