Growing Multi-family property management company looking for a Director, Acquisitions and Finance to join our team!

Looking for someone to help us grow in the Florida market.

SUMMARY: Responsible for the combining external market data with internal portfolio data into actionable acumen. Negotiate, seek, organize and finalize acquisitions and/or dispositions.

As a Director, responsible for ensuring acquisitions are sound and reasonable; involving projections on how the transaction will affect the company and determining the financial impact. Develop, arbitrate and execute the acquisition/disposition strategy as well as ensure the process goes smoothly.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Calculates, monitors, and interprets financial metrics and performance targets and communicate to the senior leadership team.
  • Works with brokers/leasing teams to research and analyze key market statistics for managing the portfolio and making investment decisions.  Put this on top after duties
  • Touring assets and working with equity sources to match investment opportunities with required hold terms, returns and market preference
  •  Understands the terms of the joint venture agreements and works with the market leaders to manage partner relationships and meet operating and reporting requirements.
  • Report preparation and presentation for investors of performance against proforma and budget. Lender reporting including renovation draws, loan thresholds and doc compliance. Work with Corporate office on routine audit requests.
  • Maintenance and audit of the schedule of real estate owned, debt schedule, insurance schedule and transactions.
  • Responsible for executing closings including statements, verifying wires, coordinating partners, lender and seller on acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Works with the corporate and market teams to prepare budget, forecast and other reporting materials for the assigned portfolio.
  • Responsible for overseeing various portfolio analyses and projects as requested by senior management, including assisting in the preparation and delivery of presentations for investors.
  • Increase the value of the portfolio by adding a proactive, entrepreneurial portfolio/asset management perspective to the leadership team and translate strategic goals of the portfolio into action.
  • Lead in managing insurance program and annual renewals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
