Responsibilities
Responsible for successful management of Grow’s real estate portfolio and capital assets. Provides direction, leadership and oversight to the Property Administration Department, including but not limited to: facility and construction management, corporate real estate management, procurement and asset management, and corporate safety. Ensures Grow’s facilities are maintained at the highest levels making them a “Great Place to Work”. Assures all facilities are in compliance with local and state building codes, OSHA, ADA and other applicable laws and regulations. This position is considered “essential” for the purposes of Business Continuity and Disaster Preparedness.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering, building trades, or related field is required.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in facility management and commercial real estate, with 3 years of supervisory experience is required.
- Professional certification (CFM or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of management.
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information in written and oral formats.
- Experience in operational and strategic planning and budget development.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, MS Projects, Visio, or similar software.
- Being familiar with the AGILE methodologies and workflow process is a plus.
- Ability to successfully work through ambiguous and unstructured circumstances.
- Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, climbing, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of thirty-five (35) pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
- Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
- Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Traditional office setting. Remote work environment available on occasion.
- Sedentary role.
- Travel to other Grow facilities or locations required as needed.
- Employee must be accessible 24/7 unless on vacation, leave or on other official time off.
