Position Summary:

Perform functions to manage all aspects of corporate real estate ownership, to include marketing and land transactions, easement sales, purchases, swaps, tax free exchanges, and long-term or high-value leases (including oil, gas and minerals). Formulate and carry out objectives, programs and policies related to the corporate land assets.

Develop and implement long term land asset utilization plans.

Land:

· Marketing and Transactions of land and easement sales, purchases, swaps, tax free exchanges, long term or high value leases (including oil, gas and minerals)

· Boundary Agreements

· Appraisals (triannual and ad hoc)

· Ad Valorem taxes

· Tax Certificates and tax deeds

· Entitlements

· Eminent domain

· Land use regulations (regional planning council, comp. plan, zoning changes)

Real Estate (residential, office, retail, industrial):

· Property selection and purchase

· Management company selection and management

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Business or Natural Resource Management.

Ten plus years of relevant experience, to include a minimum of five years in management.

Strong knowledge of property management, real estate laws, rules and regulations. Good command of commercial management and leasing practices.

Fundamental understanding of agricultural operations, agricultural engineering, surveying, geology, petroleum geology, hydrology, biology, wildlife biology, geomorphology, GIS, land planning and regulatory processes.

Computer literacy, including experience using Word, Excel and GIS mapping software.
