Where You Come In:

The Director of Operations at The Westin Tampa Bay is responsible for supervising all Rooms and F&B Departments and ensuring that their standards of operation are maintained and are working in harmony in line with established financial, customer service and staff satisfaction goals. You will ensure that service and product standards are maintained while implementing programs to increase customer quality and service. To keep all of your numbers in order, you will maintain effective staffing and cost controls in all areas of the Rooms and F&B Divisions as well as develop and implement their yearly budgets. You should have knowledge of and extensive experience with hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning. Versatility and the ability to communicate effectively will be helpful as you oversee the entire departments and work to maximize revenue and profit while still ensuring optimal guest and team experience and satisfaction.
