Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring maintenance technicians are deployed to homes based on type of service requests received from residents. Also responsible for tracking and logging completed and pending requests, along with assigned technician information.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Work directly with Maintenance Technicians to coordinate day-to-day scheduling within assigned portfolio.

Utilize computer software to dispatch Maintenance Technicians to homes or to relay

messages to and from other associates.

Receive telephone calls requesting emergency or non-emergency maintenance- related services.

Verify and dispatch the appropriate number and level of technicians with regards to service requests.

Responsible for tracking reported maintenance deficiencies and equipment failure.

Track service requests and maintenance work performed in appropriate systems.

Carry out administrative tasks or other duties as assigned.

Attend company provided training for individual development.

Experience and Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum of 1 year of customer service or related experience

Deal effectively with people, react quickly and calmly and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

Speak clearly and concisely.

Maintain accurate records.

Ability to communicate clearly over a transmitting radio.

Superior customer service orientation.

Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.

Learn terminology related to company operations.

Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.

Ability to multi-task.

Ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.

Ability to use a personal computer and possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word and

Excel, as well as computer tracking systems.

Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier and key track system.

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours.
