District Manager – Sentinel Real Estate Corporation (Brandon)

National Property Management Company seeks a full time position for a District Manager to be based in Tampa, Florida.

Position Overview – The District Manager is responsible for directing the General Managers at each property within his or her assigned district and general oversight of multiple site locations. Properties currently range in size from approximately 275 to 400 units. The properties are all located within Florida witht the vast majority being located in the Tampa area. Experience as a multi-property district manager is essential. Excellent organizational, communication and personnel skills are also required.

Job Duties:

• Direct the hiring and training of all on-site staff
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Perform on-site property inspections regularly
• Assist in the preparation of annual asset plans and budgets for each property
• Oversee and assist in preparing monthly variance reports and other reports as required
• Establish and approve rents and rent specials for each property
• Manage the district office files and supervise an administrative assistant

Requirements for District Manager:

• Management will require at least 4 years of experience as a Multi-site Manager and a total of 10 years apartment property management experience
• Management will require knowledge of all aspects of apartment management: including leasing, administration and maintenance
• Management will require a good history of dependability and job performance.
• Management will require proficient computer skills and software including Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Yardi Property Management software is highly preferred
• Management will require good analytical skills and be able to work well independently
• Management will require excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• CAM, CAPS,or CPM preferred
• BS or BA preferred
