Door Technician Job Description
ShelMar Doors & Hardware, LLC., a family owned and operated business, aspires
to hire a commercial door & hardware installer, to install and service commercial
doors and hardware. Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not
required if you are willing and able to learn.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work independently to install and/or service wood & metal doors and hardware
• Install products and provide professional services for commercial customer base
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner, when
applicable
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Represent ShelMar Doors & Hardware with the utmost professionalism at all times

• Competitive hourly rate

• Flexible part-time schedule (20-40 hours per week; dependent on the workload)
Qualifications:
• Ability to solely carry 200 pounds
• Minimum of 1-3 years of construction experience preferred
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outside of Tampa (in Florida) if needed (lodging and meals
provided)
• Customer Service oriented
