Razor Technical Staffing, a Colorado-based IT & Engineering Staffing agency is seeking a Drafter for its client located in FL.
Job description:
Experienced in the field of Telecommunications with the preparation of construction drawings, the updating of facility record maps and office file drawings, assisting with field note reduction, estimating material quantities, preparation of estimate sheets and other miscellaneous drafting and design functions as may be required. This person has a thorough understanding of telecommunications symbology and terminology with a functional knowledge of PC and CAD. Experience with RBOC’s (Regional Bell Operating Companies) such as Verizon, Verizon Business and AT&T is a plus.
- Review, interpret and analyze construction redlined prints and translate the information to outside plant record systems.
- Maintain the continuity of outside plant record mapping systems by validating them with MARTENS and other company databases.
- Continually improve the quality and relevance of the outside plant records.
- Interact with other departments as required, posting the daily changes precipitated by service orders and network grooming for broadband.
- Groom records in preparation for conversion.
- Responsible for Problem and Resolution requirements associated with outside plant records conversion
- Perform Quality Assurance and acceptance post conversion
Compensation: $18-25/hr BOE
