Randall – Electrical Division – Tampa Office is seeking a Project Manager
Our rapidly expanding electrical division provides an excellent opportunity for those who wish to take their careers to the next level and capitalize on their earning potential.
We focus primarily on commercial, industrial, hospitality, and educational construction projects to include renovations, tenant build outs, and ground up construction.
This role is responsible for the overall direction and execution of specific construction projects consistent with the contracted scope of work, company strategy, core values, and project commitments/goals.
Requirements
Key qualifications:
- Well versed in NEC Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in construction or electrical related project management
- Experience with Design and Layout of electrical systems
- Educated in the materials, means and methods of commercial & industrial installations
- Experience with large projects valued at or above $2 million
- Demonstrated experience with resource management and risk/change management
- Prior experience working directly with customers
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AcuBid and Bluebeam
- Strong planning, organizing, delegation, communication and problem-solving skills
- Skilled at leading teams and influencing others, including conflict management skills
- Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed
- Must be drug free, have a clean background and a driving history sufficient to meet insurance requirements to drive a company supplied vehicle
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Develop full scale project plans, including timelines, tasks, resources and budget
- Lead the planning and implementation of project
- Manage project budget and participate in regular review meetings
- Track and report on project performance to all stakeholders
- Utilize project management tools to maximize communication and efficiency
- Proactively identify project risks and solutions
- Work cross functionally with internal and external partners
- Conducting site walks for quality assurance and detailed reviews
- Conduct project evaluations and assessment of results to identify improvement opportunities
