ENERGY PERFORMANCE ANALYST
Reports To: DIRECTOR, FACILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures that utility expenditures and consumptions are within budget parameters, maintains utility files to support expenditures for audit purposes, and ensure that the subsidy calculation for HUD submission is supported by tracking schedules. Prepare monthly cost/consumption reports and give evaluation to the Property Managers. Maintain records of utility consumption and rate tracking models. Perform analysis of consumption and spending data in order to cut waste and identify problems. This position requires communication skills with internal departments, external departments, agencies; experience with Excel, report generations, graphs and charts to assist in demonstrating utility performance. Under immediate supervision performs a variety of routine clerical duties in support of Housing Authority office and staff operations and provides responsive and efficient customer service to the general public.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in accounting plus 2 years of experience in accounting that included auditing, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or payroll or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Utility accounting and energy management experience a plus.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION: Valid Florida Driver’s License, Insurable under the agency’s insurance policy.
STARTING SALARY : $38,207.00
Successful applicant will be required to pass a background screening prior to assuming duties for this position.
