Entry level Staff Accountant
We are a midsize Professional Employer Organization (PEO) located in St. Petersburg, FL and are looking for a full-time entry-level staff accountant to join our corporate accounting department. The right person will play an important role in not only the day-to-day operations, but in month and year end closes.
Responsibilities include:
– All aspects of Accounts Receivable from start to finish
– Remittance of child support/garnishment payments
– Processing daily ACH files
– Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
– Month end close
– Assisting the controller with other projects as needed
This position is 100% in person. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail is a must. Strong customer service and communication skills are required. Minimum of Associates degree in Accounting or related experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. PEO experience preferred, but not required. Salary commensurate with experience.
