Project Delivery and Oversight
- Successfully managing all aspects of an ERP or Work Management implementation projects from inception to project closure.
- Developing viable and effective project and resource plans for implementations.
- Conducting effective planning sessions with clients at project inception stage.
- Clearly outlining the commercial scope of a client engagement.
- Collaborating with team leads/managers to appropriately resource project.
- Successfully working with clients to ensure an alignment of scope and expectations
- Successfully working with clients to manage project changes via formal change request processes.
- Communicating tasks, timelines, and logistics to internal and external team members
- Proactively identifying and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Proactively managing project financials throughout the project lifecycle
- Proactively identifying new opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
- Setup and maintain project and resource activities across internal business systems
- Attend and contribute to critical implementation meetings, such as client facing workshops.
- Attend and contribute to critical implementation meetings, such as client facing workshops and project steering committee meetings
- Maintain and grow strong senior leadership relationships with our Clients
- Completion of project status reporting on a timely and regular basis
- Successfully delivering on time, on budget implementations resulting in highly satisfied, referenceable clients.
Group Activities
- Completing weekly timesheets and expense reports on a timely basis.
- Adhering to established project implementation methodology steps and procedures.
- Developing and applying lessons learned by collaborating with the Group.
- Collaborate and encourage continuous improvement ethos throughout the Group including recognizing and learning about AEC specific industry approaches.
- Other projects and special initiatives as required.
Skills & Competencies
Need Solid to Advancedabilities for the items below:
- Proven success in delivering ERP and or WM implementation projects with varying complexity
- Proven success in managing risks, opportunities and commercial aspects associated with project delivery. Transparent in communicating challenges and successes with the project leadership team.
- Proven success in applying experiential judgment to complex scenarios and risks.
- Exhibit a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to set and manage priorities effectively.
- Experience collaborating with multi-discipline teams.
- Experience leading self-directed team members and experts in a client facing, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Accounting and Operations Knowledge and experience a plus, including Earned Value Management concepts.
- Experience managing both Cost Plus and Fixed Fee implementations.
Education or Prior Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Technology related field
- 5+ years in Project Management function
- 5+ years of Experience leading Software delivery/Implementation role
- PMP/PMI or related qualifications preferred.
