Job Title: Escrow Office Manager
Location: St Petersburg, FL
Job Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday 9:00am to 5pm
Rate: Competitive Salary plus Commission
Job Summary:
The Escrow Manager is responsible to effectively manage the real estate closing transaction for insuring title insurance. This position handles the entire process during the escrow process.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage the entire real estate closing process, including compliance with real estate contracts, lender instructions, title requirements and other written instructions and requirements.
Communicate with Realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers and clients to ensure quick and accurate transactions
Order, review and disclose matters on surveys, sales contracts, estoppels and searches.
Prepare CDs, Settlement Statements, Deeds and other documents
Prepare Title Commitments for lenders, brokers and or buyers & sellers
Serve as an Escrow Officer, which includes the receipt and disbursement of funds
Review all files before, during and after the closings to prevent and resolve any potential issues/claims
Manage and develop client relationships to ensure future real estate closing transactions
Manage and market existing and new business which includes communication with current and prospective clients
Correspond with lenders, builders, real estate agents and attorneys as needed
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent recommended
Florida Title Agent License Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in title insurance, processing and closing procedures
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in MS Office and preferably Closers Choice
Detail-oriented and organized
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Outstanding client relationship and organizational skills
Established Client Book
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
