Position: Escrow Officer / Licensed Title Agent

Location: Tampa, Florida
Position Summary: Join a successful title company that supports a niche clientele. The Escrow Officer / Licensed Title Agent accurately processes, closes, funds and post closes real estate transactions from Contract through Post-Closing. Works well in a small team, multi-task environment and performs other title responsibilities as requested by the Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
· Opening, processing and closing of residential real estate transactions from contract through policy
· Accurate and timely completion of clearing title requirements and preparation of closing documents
· Ordering, examining and proper collection of demand letters, HOA fees, payoffs and all invoices
· Ongoing communications with timely follow through with all parties to the contract including buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders and builder employees.
· Performing closing activities accurately at the table with buyers and/or sellers
· Timely warehousing and recording of all files after closing
· Performs preparation activities and requests final policies from appropriate underwriters
· Performs Accounting duties, including but not limited to, follow up on outstanding checks, clearance of 1099 exception reports, etc.
· Actively solicits future business from realtors, mortgage brokers, lenders, etc.
· Notary Public required
Qualifications/Skills & Abilities:
· Title Agent license preferred
· SoftPro experience a plus
· Spanish speaking a plus

- Ability to multi-task and work in a high volume, fast-pace environment

- Ability to escalate more complex issues, obtain resolutions, and communicate resolutions to buyers.

- Applies timely and accurate follow-through when responding to questions or concerns from staff or buyers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
