Due to overwhelming growth, Trias Construction, a successful General Contractor in the Tampa Bay area, is looking for a pre-construction administrative assistant/bid coordinator to support our estimating department. We are currently looking for an upbeat, personable individual who is outgoing and not afraid of a challenge, someone to represent our company timely & professionally through their customer service. Must project a professional attitude, while being able to have a friendly conversation with ease. Good phone and email communication, organizational skills, self-motivation and prompt customer service are important work ethics for this position. GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Participates in the pre-construction process, from client solicitation, to coordination of project information, to bid submissions, to subcontractor administration, while identifying opportunities for improvements in quality of work, process, and cost efficiencies;
– Participates in pursuit of new business leads, tracks leads, bids, and new business awards;
– Prepares attractive marketing materials, project portfolio presentations, updates website content and implements Company’s social media promotions to increase brand awareness and enhance business development efforts;
– Assists estimators in preparing accurate, complete, and competitive bid packages;
– Solicits competitive bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers;
– Nurtures strategic relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry professionals;
– Maintains subcontractor information, certificates, and licenses in Company database;
– Works with estimators to prepare professional correspondence, write descriptive narratives, submit and obtain timely responses to RFIs, and prepares persuasive and technically sound proposals;
– Organizes and maintains project documents in Company’s plan room,
– Understands project scopes of work, specifications, and compliance requirements;
– Attends pre-bid meetings, conducts site assessments and represents Company at outreach events;
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Proficient English language skills; (Spanish language is beneficial);
– Excellent technical writing and compelling marketing content skills;
– Effective use of technology tools and social media mediums. Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, along with other estimating and project management software;
– Keen attention to detail, organization, and effective time management skills;
– Excellent communication, negotiation, problem solving and team building skills;
– Work effectively under pressure and adapts effectively to changing conditions and diverse cultures;
– Professional disposition for motivating and nurturing business development, customer, supplier, subcontractor, and strategic relationships.
– Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
