Job Summary:
The Event Assistant will support the planning and execution of various events, including corporate functions, weddings, and community gatherings. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events from conception to completion.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure event needs are met.
- Help manage event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and on-site operations.
- Prepare and distribute event materials, such as invitations, programs, and signage.
- Assist with marketing efforts to promote events, including social media and email campaigns.
- Support the team in maintaining budgets and tracking expenses.
- Attend events to provide on-site support and ensure smooth operations.
- Collect feedback and evaluate event success for future improvements.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
