Job Description:
As our Event Specialist, you’ll be the face and driving force behind our diverse range of events and promotions. Your creativity, organizational skills, and enthusiasm for our brand will help us expand our footprint in the chocolate and dessert universe. You’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing events that leave lasting impressions. In quieter times, your role will include retail sales and managing corporate gifting, ensuring our standards of excellence are met in every customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
- Design, organize, and oversee events and promotions, aligning with our brand’s theme and vision.
- Collaborate with team members and external partners to ensure events are executed flawlessly.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistical details.
Brand Representation:
- Represent The Hampton Chocolate Factory with professionalism and passion.
- Engage with customers and clients, sharing product knowledge and brand values.
- Generate excitement and buzz around our products and events.
Sales & Retail Assistance:
- Assist in in-store retail operations, including selling chocolates and desserts.
- Help customers with selections and provide excellent service.
- Manage corporate gifting orders, ensuring high-quality experiences for corporate clients.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and new product launches.
- Use social media and other platforms to enhance event visibility and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning, marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for chocolate and desserts.
- Retail and sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work during events which may be during evenings or weekends.

Starting wage, including tips is $16-20 per hour

REQUIREMENTS
The Hampton Chocolate Factory has been a family business since 2014 with a mission to showcase the luxury and taste of the Hamptons through artisan chocolates and decadent desserts.
The two brothers, Austin and Grant have grown up working summers in the Hampton Chocolate Factory since the ages of 13 and 11. They started out with their parents going to farmers markets, and festivals where they developed their love for the business and delighting customers. As they grew up, they learned the ins and outs of the family business and became more and more interested in the wonderful world of chocolate.
In 2022, it’s no surprise that when Austin found himself graduating from the University of Tampa and Grant was entering his freshman year at UT that the two brothers decided to take the reins and open up their very own flagship store in Tampa, FL …sweet!
Austin and Grant’s dedication and creativity are driving the Hampton Chocolate Factory and its collection of artisan chocolate forward, with the goal of becoming a luxury brand coveted by everyone!
