The Partners Group is currently recruiting an Associate General Counsel for our thriving client, a real estate investment start up in St. Petersburg, FL. The position will report directly to the EVP/Chief Legal Officer and will support all aspects of the business, including acquisitions, financing, corporate, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of legal experience in private law practice or in-house, preferably with foundational training from a top-tier law firm in commercial real estate, corporate, and financing matters. Hired attorney needs to have the ability to perform and prioritize multiple assignments without immediate supervision and be comfortable coordinating and managing outside counsel. Should be business-minded with strong initiative and excellent project management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Must be a member of the Florida Bar or have the ability to register as an “authorized house counsel” pursuant to applicable Florida rules.
