Ameriprise – Dunedin, FL – an Ameriprise Financial advisory practice is seeking a fulltime Executive Assistant to join their innovative and dynamic team. At Ameriprise Financial we help people feel confident about their financial future by providing comprehensive financial planning and investment consulting to families, individuals, and small organizations to help achieve financial goals and simplify their financial lives.

Job Purpose:

Serve as Executive Assistant, providing exceptionally friendly, helpful, high-quality service to our clients and help the practice in managing and organizing office workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with time management and track Advisor schedules
  • Meeting management including:
  • Meeting prep
  • Note taking during client meetings
  • Managing follow up and action items for team
  • Act as project manager for all key activities and goals for the practice
  • Coordinate with leadership team as needed
  • Assist with email management for advisor
  • Manage accounts payable for the practice

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of similar work experience in a professional office environment, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Pleasant, professional and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player
  • Highly organized, accurate, and attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and independent problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient with in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Strong personal and business ethics and integrity
  • Desire to grow and learn within the practice

Salary and Benefits:

  • $60,000-$65,000 per year, commensurate with experience
  • Health, Simple IRA with 3% match, Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay
