Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A., an AV-Rated, long established preeminent Family Law firm seeks a well-organized, technologically savvy, experienced Executive Assistant for our Tampa office with a minimum of 5 years’ law firm experience. Experience in family law is preferred, but not required.

The Executive Assistant would provide support to the Partners’, involving time-sensitive, confidential firm and client matters, and for supporting the partners’ in their volunteer activities and board projects. The position requires a resourceful and organized personality, who is comfortable, flexible, proactive, and forward thinking in a fast-paced environment with the pressure of deadlines. Must have excellent communications and inter-personal skills. Must be comfortable with computers, proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe. Experience with Centerbase and Worldox would be a plus.

The following are examples of the Executive Assistant’s core responsibilities:

· Review Partners’ calendars for conflicts and assure or create adequate preparation time

· Follow Partners’ calendars to keep appointments on track

· Prepare meeting materials in advance

· Review, sort and triage Partners’ emails and mailbox

· Handle certain personal matters (travel, reservations, etc.)

· Manage groups, committees, and boards the Partners serve on and assure they are prepared and on task

· Provide back up to office telephone calls and greeting clients, when the receptionist is out of office
