A career in Administration and Secretarial Services, within Internal Firm Services, will give you with the opportunity to provide administrative support to PwC employees. You’ll focus on using business software applications to prepare reports, receiving and directing incoming calls or emails to the appropriate parties, arranging business travel, tracking expenses, and coordinating meeting arrangements.

Must be able to demonstrate Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency levels consistent with the firm’s standards. A key element of this role is the need to exhibit great flexibility in working beyond a typical eight hour business’day as required. Ability to attend in-office meetings at least once a week and at other times deemed appropriate by their Manager. Ability to attend in-office training for the first five to seven weeks.

Demonstrate some level of knowledge in the following areas while providing administrative support virtually to executive-level professionals, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, which includes the following areas:
- Extensive technical knowledge and proficiency in Google, Microsoft Office Suite, Skype, Lotus Notes, WebEx, iPhone, iPad, and social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn) and other emerging mobile and virtual support technologies to provide administrative-related deliverables;
- Identifying and addressing client needs, responding to client and/or team requests promptly and professionally, readily offering assistance, contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment, and proactively seeking instruction, feedback and coaching to develop and improve performance; and,
- Some experience in an administrative support capacity or customer service environment.
Demonstrates proven abilities and success to provide virtual administration support to senior leaders and partners within a global network of professional services firm, emphasizing the following areas:
- Providing distinctive administrative support virtually through the delivery of exceptional customer service and quality, performing both independently and through leveraging the team to prioritize workflow demands with minimal supervision;
- Communicating effectively with all levels of professionals, emphasizing the use and principles of professional business grammar and writing styles when doing so;
- Applying consistent business acumen and specialized technical knowledge;
- Gaining a proactive understanding of and addressing effectively customers’ support needs;
- Participating actively in knowledge-sharing and/or training activities within the team, developing and communicating standard practices, within formal and informal networks;
- Communicating proactively schedule changes and keep executive-level professionals, manager, and backup team aware of changes in a timely manner;
- Learning new technology quickly;
- Mentoring and training others on how to navigate current processes, systems, technology and the firm’s resources; and,
- Managing multiple priorities effectively.
