Purpose of Job Consumer direct sales leader with a focus on purchase transactions. Provides overall direction, management, and strategic direction to Real Estate Originations as it related to Development, Helpline, Workforce Planning, and Lead Distribution and Process Design. Designs and leads business and organizational transformation initiatives to strengthen overall member experience and create efficiencies in our process. Leads the execution of operational and strategic business plans.

Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities
Oversees the Business Development, Workforce Planning, Lead Distribution and Process Design for Real Estate Originations. Provides leadership to subordinate management
Working collaboratively with all internal stakeholders, leads the strategic development, design, and implementation of the Real Estate operating model
Works with Agile teams and second line partners to establish requirements for Point-of-Sale solutions, Customer Relationship Management systems and Loan Origination systems
Establishes and achieves a comprehensive capacity plan and budget for the department in coordination with the overall product plans.
Provide the oversight with the Sales teams that is necessary to meet all established KRI’s for Originations
Execute timely and concise performance management routines to ensure the team is performing at or above expected production thresholds and within established risk tolerance
Develops and implements objectives and policies, to ensure employee’s skills meet both the organization’s established compliance training standards as well as industry training that is relevant to the sales roles
Interacts with Senior Leadership on key objectives related to organizational spans and layers, capacity modeling, performance standards and industry related skills requirements
Sponsors or represents real estate on joint project groups related to operational performance specific to member facing interactions
Responsible for continued evolvement of the Real Estate Originations Operating Model and Call Center Management as it relates to the member experience envisioned by Omni channel
Develop a proactive contact management routine for outreach to Real Estate agents
Responsible for proactively engaging with internal Marketing team to develop and execute marketing aimed at optimizing USAA’s opportunity to increase capture rates for mortgage
Responsible for staffing, onboarding, and retaining top talent. Accountable for providing effective leadership coaching and feedback directed towards professional development
Ensures successful leader performance by assessing training requirements and evaluating individual training needs. Promotes the development of effective team relationships
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree
Minimum Experience:
10 or more years of Real Estate Originations experience with a heavy focus on Contact Center Sales management.
6 or more years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams.
Extensive working knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations governing First Mortgage Originations.
Domain expertise in the full lifecycle of the Mortgage Originations experience including Sales, Fulfillment and Capital Markets.
Proven working experience and knowledge of a broad array of mortgage products including FNMA, FHLMC, and VA home loan programs.
Experience managing Sales Operations in a highly regulated environment with a strong focus on operational risk and compliance management
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of real estate focused on purchase transitions
Experience co-managing sales and fulfillment operations
Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $178,700 – $321,800
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
Long Term Incentive Plan:
Cash payment for Executives only representing a cash payment which is both time and performance based
