The Impact You Will Have:

The Facilitation Community Manager’s primary function is to enable a world-class training solution for our clients through the management of our global facilitation community – client facilitators, pure facilitators / faculty, and Sales Consultants (ISCs) who facilitate and support courses. This role provides information, oversight, training, support, and coaching across our portfolio of solutions to ensure our clients receive a world-class experience that appropriately represents the Miller Heiman Group brand when participating in our courses.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Technology or related field
  • 5+ years experience in facilitation, program management, and driving learning opportunities
  • Experience in a Professional Services role required; experience working closely with senior leaders required.
  • Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Player/Coach mentality. Highly strategic, but with the ability to drive the initiatives on the ground by putting the client experience first.
  • Experience and track record of transforming an existing program into a more robust function; project management experience helpful.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people remotely in a global context, fostering trust and collaboration in establishing a single, cohesive culture
  • Ability to work across reporting lines in a matrix environment
  • Knowledge of and experience implementing facilitator programs and using survey technology
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent managerial skills
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction

A Day in the Life:

  • Accountable for facilitation quality, oversight, and facilitation communications
  • Accountable for the quality of the certification experience and for building and launching all certification courses
  • Own strategy, experience, and enablement for Facilitator Certification
  • Build, deploy, and manage engagement approach for all facilitation audiences including ISCs, Pure Facilitators, and Client Facilitators
  • Develop strategy for global new product certification event roll-outs
  • Drive engagement with facilitators with compelling communication and clear processes for professional growth and cross-course certifications
  • Develop new, revenue-driving strategies for continuing education with facilitator community
  • Planning, managing, executing, hosting Certification events [I feel like EXECUTING is tough – as this role does not have the scheduling arm. I think executing STRATEGY is more accurate.]
  • Develop deep bench of master facilitators globally, ensuring in-region support
  • Constant communication with facilitator community (e.g., meetings, in-person events, addressing questions, etc)
  • Survey and interview facilitators regularly to capture feedback
  • Share quality data back with facilitators regularly
  • Create a program to remove low performers from our rosters and bring on new talent
  • Build enablement education for facilitators reflecting new technologies, presentation competencies, and the latest research in adult learning and instruction.
  • Develop a pipeline of world class facilitators to deliver Miller Heiman Group training programs
  • Work closely with the facilitation scheduling function
  • Look for trends in feedback and provide quarterly output to all Miller Heiman Group executives, including the CSOi team to drive research
