Position: Facilities Coordinator Reports to: Director of Facilities Property: The Village, University of South Florida FLSA: Non-Exempt Salary Rate: $32,000 annually Reporting to the Director of Facilities; the Facilities Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating activities and schedules as it relates to the Maintenance and Custodial of the facility, and inventory management and control. The Facilities coordinator works with the Maintenance Supervisor and Custodial Supervisor on scheduling and work order management. This position is also a working technician position when necessary and to support operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assists with completion of weekly and monthly reports. Assists in inventory management and control as well as ordering and organization of supplies and equipment. Assists operations with limited Accounts receivable / payable Works with Facilities Supervisors to schedule and manage vendors and service needs of maintenance and custodial departments. Manages relationships, reporting expectations and to assist in compliance. Keeps accurate and organized records. Assists in maintenance work orders, preventative maintenance, and custodial in projects, when schedules require assistance. Assists in the turn schedule, procedures and move-in / move-out activities. Assist in creating a student first atmosphere in the community. Projecting a resident focused and professional image through in-person, email and phone interaction with all internal and external communication is essential. Other duties as assigned. Required Education and/or Experience: Minimum three to five years related experience and training in facilities, maintenance and/or custodial. Experience in inventory control and management Experience with accounts payables / receivables Previous experience gathering and analyzing data, creating reports, managing budgets and experience with Microsoft Office. Preferred Education and/or Experience: Post-Secondary education such as Associate s Degree or Vocational Degree in a Trade, Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related field Previous experience working with facilities administration in higher education, student housing or campus facilities operations. |
