We’ve got big plans at Power Design, and we need a fast-moving, multi-tasking Facilities Coordinator who can help us make them happen! Our 36-acre campus just keeps on growing, so we need a Facilities Coordinator to help with the planning of future building space needs and ensuring adequate aim for future space layouts– so our #PDIFamily can enjoy our beautiful campus and office space, while feeling safe! In this role, the Facilities Coordinator will conduct an overview of specific needs of the spaces, maintain seating records, perform capacity analysis, and manage cross functional seating projects in collaboration with wide range of internal and external partner.

position details/responsibilities…

  • Support facilities team with project management work in the office, as it relates to workplace moves, adds, and changes
  • Oversees group moves and moves with special requirements. Coordinates with Facility Managers, and presents solutions to client.
  • In conjunction with Project Manager and Facility Manager, develops migration plans and sequencing of group-level relocations
  • Coordinate and schedule vendors for refresh projects, and leading other smaller projects on their own
  • Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and asset utilization
  • Interfaces with Client to develop options, finalize project concepts and prepare final documents for client approval
  • Schedule preventive maintenance on current office space layouts
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure safety for staff and patients

here’s what we’re looking for…

  • A creative problem solver with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Five years’ work experience in two or more of the following: a) space planning, b) project management, and c) facilities planning
  • Five years’ of related work experience in a commercial property setting or any similar combination of education or experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability
  • Vocational/technical training certificate or college degree in related field required
