Hillsborough County Development Center (HCDC) is hiring a highly qualified Maintenance Director to provide maintenance planning, management and leadership for our residential campus. HCDC is an Intermediate Care Facility servicing individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The person we seek is driven to ensure that the facility has comprehensive maintenance programs to maintain a superior facility and grounds to protect the investment of the company, all records must be maintained for materials and labor costs within the facilities budget. This position reports to the Administrator and is part of the center’s leadership team.
The Maintenance Director position is a salaried position starting at $43, 870.00 with a minimum of 2 years’ experience or more based on verified experience.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 yrs. experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Florida Driver’s license with a 3 years clean driving record
- Successful passing of background & Drug Testing
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Manage, Plan and Execute Preventative Maintenance throughout the facility
- Supervise and Manage maintenance & environmental services staff
- Performs fire drills and required safety procedures i accordance with federal, state and local regulations
- Conducts in-service training for new hires on safety and other topics as needed
- Ensures clean, orderly, visually pleasing landscape and grounds keeping.
