East Lake Church is seeking part-time Facilities Maintenance Manager to maintain the indoor and outdoor appearance and general maintenance of the campus buildings, equipment and grounds.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES shall include, but not be limited to:
- Maintain necessary equipment in good working condition
- Maintain and clean exterior of buildings & structures including storage sheds, fences, playgrounds, etc.
- Perform set up and breakdown of meeting rooms in church facilities in coordination with regularly scheduled events and special functions of the Church
- General maintenance and repairs as scheduled and needed
- Diagnosis and repair as applicable for electrical, plumbing, and other equipment malfunctions
- Mowing of property grass, edging of pavement & sidewalks, weed trimming and blowing
- General cleaning duties of facilities and structures
- Completing daily, weekly and monthly checklists for assigned tasks as well as maintaining scheduled maintenance logs
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, adaptable, energetic and a team player
- Must be able to communicate clearly with both Church Staff, Preschool Staff and Congregants
- Must have the physical strength and stamina to handle and operate all power equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Must be able to work outside in both hot and cold conditions
- Background Check and Drug Testing required
Schedule will include weekend hours on Sunday.
