Job Description:

Our facilities maintenance member will be responsible for maintaining the building sand grounds, renovating and remodeling the building, and assisting with facilities operation under the supervision of a Facilities Manager.

The ideal candidate will be well organized with excellent time management skills. You need to be able to develop good working relationships with a wide range of people, have excellent verbal/written communication skills, and have good customer/client management skills. Accuracy and attention to detail are important qualifications for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This list is intended to illustrate the various types of work to be performed and the list will be further refined for the successful candidate.

· Assist with installation, refurbishment, renovation, and maintenance of telecommunication, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

· Assist with installation and painting of doors and drywall, as well as installation of carpet.

· Assist with managing landscaping, lawns, parking lot, and building security systems to maintain a safe working environment.

· Assist with the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.

· Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.

A successful candidate will need to have some or all of the following skills and experience:

· Ability to manage a varied and complex workload and have technical knowledge of building services.

· Ability to make proper decisions quickly; Good analytical/critical thinking.

· The position requires strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and coordinate with others.

· Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Additional Information:

· Valid Florida Driver’s License with no more than 7 points.

· Must meet the U.S. Department of Justice’s requirements for working in the U.S.

· Must be able to abstain from smoking during the workday.
