FHA Property Preservation Coordinator Job Description
The FHA Property Preservation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a variety of services within the property preservation process, with an added emphasis placed on attention to detail and capacity to work within multiple databases.
Coordinators will be expected to handle properties in a post-sale environment in addition to pre-sale, and must carefully execute the conveying of properties to meet HUD standards while also continuing to meet the deadlines set forth by the client.
Coordinators should be proficient in negotiating, communication, thoroughness, and have the ability to multi task while showing a strong sense of urgency.
Essential Job Functions:
- Handle both pre and post-sale services such as lockouts, evictions, and trash outs
- Communicating with vendors to ensure services are completed correctly and timely
- Reviewing photos for quality assurance and completion
- Interact directly with the client in a professional manner regarding general and specific inquiries
- Utilize multiple data bases and software programs to assist in performing & completing day to day job duties
- Negotiate & submit bids into HUD’s P260 data base for approval
- Convey properties to HUD standards for later sale
- Performs other duties as assigned
